Camping with The Mellanders

howdy. so it friday, which of course is a good thing. pretty quiet around the office today. only like six guys here. i guess that’s summer for ya.

next week is the fourth of july, and for the first time in years, I won’t be in endicott for it. when i was a kid, we were always at my cottage on lake erie for the 4th, and then eventually we were in town for them. even while i was living in pittsburgh, i was home for the 4th. anyhow, just when i thought i was gonna be hanging out by lonesome for the big day, i got invited to a party. so that’s fun.

just two weeks till the wedding….

Well, not to much going on lately. We went to Endicott again this past weekend. I had a lot of time to hang out with Josh and Matt, so it was a fun time. We course had some wedding things to take care of as well.

We are taking this weekend off from going to NY. Thank god!! But next weekend, we will be up there again. Erin has her bridal shower and I got my bachleor party. Woo-hoo!!!

I’ve started taking the Metro to work, because we got ride of the old car. It’s not bad though, and I don’t have to sit in traffic anymore.

Wow…what a weekend!!

This past Saturday was my bachelor party. It was great!! In attendance was Matt Gilligan, Dave Gilligan, Josh Mellander, Matt Wood, Tom Rombald, Steve Robertson, Matty B, and Eric Appel, and my dad making a special guest appearance.

We had a van rented, and went down to Northgate Speedway for some go-cart racing action. Always a
blast!! We then stopped into Casey’s (?) for a some food and drinks. After that, we hit the clubs. It was a great time, and I want to thank everyone who was involved. It was a night I will never forget!

monday, monday….

well, it has arrived. this is the week i get married. i will admit that the butterflies in the ol’ stomach have arrived. i have this real nervous-excitement thing going on. i just can’t wait to head up to endicott. i have been basically hanging out by myself for the past two weeks, and i have had enough. there is nothing left to clean in my apartment, and I am running out of movies to rent!!

we are heading up to the adirondacks next week for our honeymoon. i am defiantly looking forward to kicking back up there for a few days. should be really nice.

well..back to trying to concentrate on work.
