Camping with The Mellanders

This past Saturday was my 10 year high school reunion for the Union-Endicott High School’s Class of 1996. It was a great time. So many old faces, some of which I haven’t seen since graduation day. Not sure how many alumni turned out, but lucky for me, a lot of my old friends were there. It was also kind of funny to find out how many still live here in town…yet we never run into each other!

After the party, we headed over to Kelly’s (the unofficial UE alumni bar) and kept the party going pretty late. A fun time for sure, and I look forward to the next one and hope to stay in better touch with everyone I saw.

This past Saturday, Erin and I went on a winery tour with the Xterra club. We visted six stops on the Cayuga Lake Trail, north of Ithaca and camped at Taughannock Falls State Park.

The group was made up of 6 couples and our stops included Swedish Hill, Knapp, Goose Watch, Lucas, Americana and Bellwether Hard Cider.

We ended the day with a cookout next to Cayuga Lake at sunset.
