I created a tumblelog recently using tumblr.com. What is a tumblelog you ask? A tumblelog is a variation of a blog, that favors short-form, mixed-media posts over the longer editorial posts frequently associated with blogging.

In other words, its a place to quickly post cool videos, links and photos that you find online and want to share.

Well it’s Monday, so let’s take a look back at the events of this past weekend.

  • Friday Night: Dinner followed by a visit to the Conklin Town Fair. The boys went on their first amusement ride…a little thing called the Dizzy Dragons that made Mom, Dad and Aunt Kelly all want to puke. But the boys seemed to enjoy it.
  • Saturday: We went to a church picnic at a family from church’s cottage in PA. It was a nice get together and was followed by a moving baptism of three people in the lake by our Pastor. The boys got a little time in the water and seeing N swimming with the Pastor was cute.
  • Sunday: Let the torture begin. Football season started and the Browns get pummeled by the Steelers. To top it off, we had to sit in the middle of a bunch of Squeeler fans. It was just sad.

My highlight of this week is that I got over 100 property observations assigned to me that are all due in less then 14 days. So every free minute outside of my day job will be filled with my second job. Yeah!

Labor Day

I had a great Labor Day weekend and I’m sad to see it, and summer, come to an end.

On Saturday, Erin & I went to the NY State Fair in Syracuse, and had a fun day. The boys stayed at home with their Grandma, so it was a fun day out by ourselves.

On Sunday, we all went out to Pop Pop’s farm for a cookout. it was a lot of fun. The boys got to see and feed to horses (although N was not a fan), sit on the tractor and go swimming. It was a lot of fun.

Today, I went fishing with my Dad and Josh. We fished the West Branch of the Delaware River in Stilesville and Deposit. I caught four brown trout total, all averaging around 12-14 inches. Got lots of sunburn on the face too. A great day.
