Big Third Inning Leads Cory’s Tax Service Past Fairways Indoor Golf

Cory’s Tax Service scored six runs in the third inning, which helped them defeat Fairways Indoor Golf 9-2 on Tuesday at Logan Field.
A single by Troy F put Cory’s on the board in the top of the first. They scored six runs on eight hits in the top of the third inning. Gavigan H singled, scoring one run, Easton K singled, scoring one run, Timothy C doubled, scoring one run, Knox D singled, scoring one run, and Seamus G doubled, scoring two runs.
Andrew R and Lukas M were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected one hit for Fairways. Max M and Lukas each got RBIs. Javien O stole two bases. Javien was also sure-handed in the field, with two unassisted outs.
Cory’s accumulated 18 hits in the game. Seamus led Cory’s with two runs batted in from the number eight spot in the lineup. He went 2-for-2 on the day. Gavigan went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Cory’s in hits. Knox, Luca O, Timothy, and Marco M each collected multiple hits.
