Fairways Indoor Golf had trouble keeping up with Rossi's Pizza in an 18-2 loss on Friday at Murphy Field. Rossi's Pizza opened the scoring in the top of the first thanks to three singles. Rossi's first got on the board when Rocco G singled, scoring one run. They scored six runs on seven hits in the top of the second inning. Carter D singled, scoring one run, Vinny G tripled, scoring three runs, Thomas C doubled, scoring one run, and Mason D doubled, scoring one run. Rossi's added one run in the third after Malcolm R singled on an 0-2 count. Rossi's scored seven runs on seven hits in the top of the fourth inning. Mason doubled, scoring two runs, Landyn U singled, scoring two runs, Michael H singled, scoring one run, Alex B singled, scoring one run, and Malcolm singled, scoring one run.
Jack C provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Fairways Indoor Golf with two runs batted in. They went 1-for-1 on the day. Andrew R, Jack, Nic G, Lukas M, and Noah T each collected one hit for Fairways .
